Courage counts

What does courage take?

They say there's a fine line between courage and stupidity.

To incorrectly choose action is often perceived as stupidity, like charging into battle without a plan. But this is a false dichotomy. Forethought and action are both valuable.

What about the line between courage and intelligence?

Forethought alone can only take us so far. When we need to be agile, too much forethought is counter-productive.

At some point, we have to stop just being intelligent, and start acting intelligently. We have to get out there to inform ourselves.

At some point, we have to step across that line and do what needs doing.

That's courage.
