It's okay to abandon their methodology

Experienced founders, especially the successful ones, rarely follow methodologies. They understand the principles and they freestyle.

The processes that worked for one founder won't necessarily work for another - too much can be different, from markets, to skills, to economic conditions, to the nature of the business itself.

Often, we're at odds with adopted process. Just do what makes sense.
